According to al-Ahram website, the competition has been organized by the Center for Students Formations affiliated to the university’s General Office for Supporting the Youth.
Jamal Hamze, director general of the office said that the competition,said the contest will continue until November 3.
Memorization of 30, 15 and 10 Juzes of Quran with observation of Tajweed principles are the categories of the competition, he said.
The official added that the top winners in each category will be respectively awarded 1000, 500 and 300 Egyptian pounds.
