According to Anadolu news agency, the course is being held in the city of Lice.
It has been organized by the Dar al-Ifta Center of the province in cooperation with the office of Lice’s governor general
Huliya Cerlic, an instructor of the course, said it began in September and will continue until May.
She said the participants are very happy with their progress in learning the principles of Tajweed.
She added that in addition to Tajweed, those taking the course learn lessons in Islamic sciences like Fiqh (jurisprudence) and Hadiths.
Cerlic went on to say that a kindergarten has been launched
near the center where the course is held, so that the participants can leave
their kids there and learn the lessons without any worries.
