According to the Quranic Affairs Center of Iran’s Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, Egyptian Quran masters Ahmed Ahmed al-Sayyid and Ahmed al-Shamis will be in Iran during the holy month of Ramadan.
They will attend and recite verses from the Holy Quran in more than 40 Quranic sessions.
The Quranic programs will be held in mosques, schools, organizations and religious center in different cities.
Every year, various Quranic programs are organized all over Iran during the month of Quran.
Last year, too, six Quran reciters from Egypt took part in Quran recitation sessions in the Islamic Republic of Iran during Ramadan.
Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic Hijri calendar. This year, it began on Saturday, May 27.
During Ramadan, Muslims all over the world fast (abstain from foods and drinks) from sunrise to sunset.
They also devote a considerable amount of time during this month to reading and contemplating the Quran.
