Addressing the closing ceremony of the 9th international summit of the Islamic Radio and Television Union (IRTVU) on Tuesday, Abdulali Aliaskari underlined that future belongs to the Islamic world and that the media of the Muslim world should work toward unity and convergence in order to materialize the victory of resistance.
He further highlighted the status of the IRTVU, saying it communicates the voice of the oppressed to the world.
The IRIB chief also underlined the need for innovation in Islamic media outlets in order for success in the media and cultural war with the West.
The international conference began on Sunday in the northeastern Iranian holy city of Mashhad.
More than 230 representatives of Islamic Institutes and media attended the event.
