Iran’s Quran TV, Afghanistan’s Kawthar TV to Develop Cooperation
TEHRAN (IQNA) – In a meeting between the directors of Iran’s Quran TV and Afghanistan’s Kawthar TV, the two sides underlined expansion of cooperation.
The meeting was held during a visit to the Quran TV headquarters in Tehran by Mohammad Mehdi Taqaddosi, the director of Kawsar TV.
At the meeting, Taqaddosi briefed Mohammad Hossein Mohammadzadeh, the Quran TV chief, on the activities and programs of the Afgahn TV channel.
He said Kawsar TV makes efforts to promote the Quranic teachings and sciences and expressed willingness to learn from the experiences of the Quran TV in this field.
Mohammadzadeh, for his part, welcomed Taqaddosi and those accompanying him, and called for more cooperation and interaction between the two TV networks.
He also said the Quran TV has produced programs featuring different Quranic fields such as teaching, interpretation, Quranic lifestyle, and so on.
