According to the website of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine, they will meet on Thursday and Friday, August 10-11.

They will also pursue implementation of agreements reached in their previous meeting.

Exploring ways to facilitate pilgrimage to Karbala and resolving the problems faced by the pilgrims will be on the agenda of the upcoming gathering, Afzal al-Shami, an official tasked with organizing the meeting said.

Karbala is a city in central Iraq, located about 100 km (62 mi) southwest of Baghdad.

Every year, millions of Shia Muslims and others from across Iraq and other countries visit the holy shrines of Imam Hussein (AS) and Hazrat Abbas (AS) in Karbala.

The largest gathering of pilgrims in Karbala takes place during Arabeen- the anniversary of the 40th day after Ashura (when Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions were martyred in the 680 AD Battle of Karbala).
