Mashhad to Host ‘Muslim World Publishers’ Book Fair
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iran’s northeastern city of Mashhad will host its 19th international book fair under the title of “Muslim World Publishers” later this month, an official said.
Yusuf Amini, cultural and press deputy of Khroasan Razavi province’s Culture and Islamic Guidance Department, said it will be organized in the holy city from November 30 to December 7.
He said publishers from Iran and a number of other Islamic countries, including Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, will showcase their works at the book fair.
It will also include an Algeria Culture Week, the official noted.
The book fair will have 12 sections, such as university books, children and young adults, religious books, and so on.
There will also be cultural programs during the weeklong event, he went on to say.
