Excellency, Dr. Saber Farzam

The Head of Iranian Academics’ Quranic Activities Organization

Distinguished guests and participants

Dear brothers & sisters

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatu Allah Wabarakatuh

I would like to convey the gratitude of H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijiri, the honorable Director General of ISESCO, to all organizers for inviting ISESCO to participate in this august gathering with the presence of Quranic scholars.

Today we are gathered together under the name of "Qur'anic competition", although, we consider this competition as one of the ways and means to promote the level of public awareness and upgrading specialists’ competency in different dimensions of Qur'anic teachings. The most important advantage of this kind of activity is the unity formed around the different dimensions and aspects of the Holy Quran.

Also, we consider the Holy Quran as a pillar for bringing together Muslims from all over the world and creating Muslims unity atmosphere. This unity is the missing element of the Islamic world. It is one of the Quran's miracles that it can bring us closer together in all stages and constraints era.

I am grateful to Allah for granting me such valuable opportunity to participate in this valuable competition. Today, Muslim students have an important role to present realities derived from the Holy Quran and play a crucial role to develop the philosophy and policy directives of their countries based upon of Islamic and Qur'anic values. Such a doctrine and insight can play a crucial role during the period that western media spread propaganda against Islam and Muslim Ummah.

ISESCO conducts fifty activities a year in the area of Quranic Teachings and encourages the scholars to develop works in this area and we witness the successful implementation of student Quranic competition by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

It is my duty to congratulate “Iranian Academics’ Quranic Activities Organization” for holding this magnificent competition and event and also appreciate the authorities of the Jihad-e-Daneshgahi, Khorasan Razavi, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, for conducting this program.

Wassalamu Alaikum Warahmalu Allah Wabarakatuh
