Int’l Quran Competition Planned in Saudi Arabia
TEHRAN (IQNA) – “Media in the Service of Quran” is the motto of an international Quran competition planned to be held in Saudi Arabia.
According to qmaward.com, the competition will be organized on the sidelines of the 3rd international Conference on Quranic Researches under the supervision of King Saud University in Riyadh.
The Center for Studies of Quranic Researches will cooperate in holding the competition, slated for October 15-18.
Documentary films and photography about the Holy Quran are the categories of the competition.
The best documentary will be awarded 30000 Saudi Riyals and the prize for the best photos is 15000 Saudi Riyals.
August 18 is the deadline for submitting works to the competition, according to teh organizers.
