Seminar on Quranic Lifestyle Held in Karbala

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A seminar titled “Quran and Life” was organized in the holy city of Karbala, Iraq, with the participation of a number of Iraqi academic figures.

 

According to al-Kafeel website, the Quran Center affiliated to the Office for Islamic and Human Affairs of the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) held the program in line with the Quran teaching plan for universities and higher education institutes of the country.

It was addressed by Sheikh Munjid Ka’bi, Iraqi Quran researcher and expert in Islamic history and civilization, who clarified the challenges faced by the youth in today’s world.

He stressed that the Holy Quran has presented the principles of individual and social life with different examples in different periods of history.

Development of Islamic civilization and its principles clarified by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) of Islam, how Islam established peace among nations, and development of culture based on the teachings of Surah ‘Alaq were among the themes discussed by the scholars at the seminar.
