Ceremonies Held in Mashhad to Celebrate Imam Javad (AS) Birth Anniversary
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A number of programs were held in and around the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad, northeast Iran, Friday night, to mark the birthday anniversary of Imam Javad (AS).
The programs included fireworks show, mass wedding, and gifting flowers to the pilgrims of the holy shrine.
Imam Javad (AS), the son of Imam Reza (AS), was born on the 9th of Rajab in the lunar Hijri calendar, which falls on April 8 this year.
