Mashhad Hosting ‘Imam Reza (AS) and Scientific Movement’ Conference

TEHRAN (IQNA) – An international conference entitled “Imam Reza (AS) and Islamic World’s Scientific, Civilizational Movement” got underway in Iran’s northeastern holy city of Mashhad on Wednesday.

Scholars and thinkers from Iran and a number of other Muslim countries are attending the one-day event.

Al-Mustafa International University’s Mashhad branch has organized the conference in cooperation with a number of other institutions, including the Astan Quds Razavi, Culture and Islamic Guidance Department of Khorasan Razavi province, Islamic Sciences and Culture Research Center, Allameh Tabatabaei University, and Islamic College of Indonesia.

Selected papers submitted to the secretariat of the conference will be presented at the event on Wednesday morning and afternoon.
