Visually-Impaired Girl’s Quranic Success in Gaza
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A visually-impaired girl in the Gaza Strip managed to receive a prestigious Quran recitation permission.
According to Safa news agency, Shams Abushahma, 17, received the permission from Sheikh Hani al-Alai, a prominent Palestinian Qari.
Abushahma, who lives in the city of Khan Yunis in the coastal enclave, has passed preliminary and advanced Quranic courses in her hometown.
She has very good mastery over principles and rules of Tajweed and recitation of the Quran.
Prominent Sheikhs and Qaris give recitation permissions to Quran students who have managed to fully learn the rules of recitation.
