Egyptian Visually-Impaired Memorizes Quran in English, French

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Abdullah Ammar, an Egyptian visually impaired teenager managed to memorize the Holy Quran as well as its translations in English and French.

 

According to alwafd.news, the Almihwar satellite TV channel aired a program featuring the life of the Egyptian elite and his Quran memorization.

He said in the program, titled “Misr Baladuna” (Egypt is our country), that he memorized the entire Quran in 3 and a half months at the age of 8.

He then embarked on learning the English and French translations of the Holy Book by heart. 

Abdullah, who is from Bilbeis city in Al-Sharqiyah Governorate, has also mastered Quran recitation in 10 different styles.

He won top ranks in two Quran competitions in 2016 and 2018 and was honored by Abdel Fattah Alsisi, the president of Egypt.
