Over 300 Distortions in Hebrew Quran Translation Printed in Saudi Arabia

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Hebrew translation the Quran published in Saudi Arabia contains more than 300 distortions and errors, an Arab expert said.

Mahmoud Refaat said the translation was carefully studied for over a month and the faults found in it exceed 300, Al Jazeera reported.

According to Alaeddin Ahmed, a Palestinian researcher, the inaccuracies, most of match the beliefs of Jews, seem to be included intentionally to appease Israel.

A man named Asaad Nimr Basoul, living in the northern parts of occupied Palestine has done the rendering, he noted.

Among the distortions in the translation is using ‘Solomon’s Temple’ instead of Al-Aqsa Mosque in verse 7 of Surah Isra.

Also, the translator has not used the names of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Prophet Jesus (AS).

He has mentioned the name of Isaac (AS) but not Ismail (AS) as the sons of Prophet Abraham (Ibrahim (AS)).
