Summer Quranic Courses Extended in Jordan

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Jordan’s Ministry of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Sanctities extended summer Quranic courses at the Quranic clubs of the country until the end of August.

 

According to Al-Ray newspaper, the objective of the courses is to provide the opportunity for the students to make the best use of their summer holidays.

Ismail Al-Khutaba, deputy secretary general in guidance affairs and head of the central committee of the summer Quranic clubs in Jordan, said the ministry has organized online video programs at the Quranic clubs and centers of the country for the fourth week.

The programs are for 6 to 17 year-old students aiming to get them acquainted with Islamic virtues and rituals, injunctions and help them memorize Quranic verses.

Al-Khutaba said there are two teaching methods at the centers including in-person courses for boys at mosques and 200 centers all over Jordan and online courses for 100 boys and 140 girls.
