Soffeh Ritual at Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Soffeh is a ritual held every day at the holy mausoleum of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad, northeast Iran.
In this ritual, dating back to 163 years ago, 14 memorizers of the Quran and some of the servants of the holy shrine read 14 Juzes (parts) of the Quran.
