Over 7000 Works Submitted to 16 Editions of Sheikh Tousi Int’l Festival

Secretary of Sheikh Tousi International Research Festival said more than 7000 works on religious themes have been received by the secretariat of the festival during the 16 previous editions of the event.


Talking to IQNA, Owliya Sha’bani said the call for papers for the 17th edition of the event has been issued and the secretariat is receiving works including books, papers, theses, etc.

The international festival is held annually in general and specialized sections. “The Muslim World and Takfir Phenomenon” is the theme for the papers of the 17th edition.

The themes for the works are investigated and selected by the Policy-Making Council of the Research Deputy of Al-Mustafa International University.

Noting that pre-meetings of the 17th festival are underway by the university, he added that the third pre-meeting of this year’s festival was organized on “criticism of Takfir thought based on the Quran and Hadith”.
