Registration for 20th Quran, Hadith Olympiad to Start on Eid Al-Qadir
Hossein Assadi, director of the university’s Quran and Hadith Department, said registration will continue until November 1 in the holy city of Qom and Al-Mustafa International University branches in different cities of the country as well as over 40 other countries.
Noting that every year a central theme is selected for the Olympiad, Assadi said the theme of this year’s event is Quranic Culture and Lifestyle.
He added that preparations for the Olympiad have been made in accordance to this central theme.
Director of the Al-Mustafa International University’s Quran and Hadith Department also said that those willing to take part in the Olympiad can sign up to compete in one category in the research section, one category in the oral section and two categories in the written section.
Every year, thousands of the university’s students take part in the international Olympiad, which is aimed at promoting the teachings of the Holy Quran and Islam.
