Planned Int’l Quran Foundation to Introduce Quranic Figures to World

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Cultural deputy of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) said the international Holy Quran Foundation will introduce Iranian Quranic figures to the world.

Mohammad Hossein Hashemi in an interview with IQNA underlined the capabilities and achievements of the country’s Quran activists but said their accomplishment have largely remained unknown in the Muslim world.

He said the establishment of the foundation will pave the way for Iranian Quranic researchers and activists to have a more prominent presence in different fields internationally.

The International Holy Quran Foundation is planned to be set up by ICRO’s cultural deputy later this year.

Hashemi further urged that the Quranic research studies and papers by Iranian scholars should be translated into different languages and presented to other countries.
