Dr Noura Abdullah al-Kubaisi, director, Al Noor Institute for The Blind, said that the visit of the QC delegation left an impact on the professors and students of the institute.

Dr al-Kubaisi pointed out that the institute will co-ordinate with QC to print copies of the Quran in braille for distribution to the blind inside and outside Qatar, GTimes reported.

Mushaf Basirah consists of an index printed in braille with an electronic pen that helps the blinds read the Qur’an easily.

QC had earlier distributed Mushaf Basirah for thousands of blind people in Indonesia.
