Crimea Mufti Visits Construction Site of Simferopol Mosque

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Crimea Mufti Haji Emirali Ablaev together with a delegation from the Crimean Tatar Council visited the construction site of the Cathedral Mosque in Simferopol, for inspecting the construction of the main building of the mosque and the administrative building.

 

 

Currently, installation of the formwork for the main dome of the structure and the construction of minarets is being completed. 

"Experts are working on installing equipment for warming floors inside the main premises of the mosque. In the administrative building, all communications and double-glazed windows are installed, facade is being finished, after which the builders will begin the interior decoration of the building. More than 200 people are involved in the construction work which is being done around the clock," said the press service of the Central Religious Organization of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea. 

According to the Mufti of Crimea, the Cathedral Mosque is a symbol of people's striving for faith, unity, development, enlightenment and prosperity. "We are witnessing a historic event. The cathedral mosque is a valuable emanet, which we will leave to our descendants," Emirali Ablaev said. 

Also, representative of the Crimean Tatar Council Lemar Selendili shared her impressions. "Every day, passing by the construction, I saw how the minarets grow, how the domes appear, but when I visited the construction site, I felt its gigantic proportions. It will be the most beautiful mosque, which we Crimean Muslims, the inhabitants of Crimea will be proud of," Selendili said.
