Provocative Rituals Held by Israeli Settlers at Al-Aqsa Mosque Gate

AL-QUDS (IQNA) – Provocative rituals were held by Israeli settlers at one of the main gates to Al-Aqsa Mosque on Saturday.

The settlers, under police protection, also obstructed entry of Muslim worshippers to the holy place for the noon prayers, said eyewitnesses.

Jews are not allowed into the holy Muslim site on Saturdays and therefore they gather and hold rituals at the gates to the walled compound in an attempt to provoke the Muslim worshippers during prayer times.

The Israeli police also imposed fines on Palestinian citizens' vehicles near al-Magharbeh and Bab al-Nabi Daoud gates.
