Munafisah means taking turns to recite verses from the Holy Quran.  

The prominent Kuwaiti qari recited Verses 117 and 118 of Surah Al-Muminun and then Verses 1-6 of Surah Al-Balad.

His recitation was followed by Shakernejad’s recitation of each verse.  

They performed the Munafisah during the second season of Mahfel, a Quranic TV show that is aired on the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) during the holy month of Ramadan.

It is broadcast just before sunset every day during the holy month, offering a spiritual oasis for viewers as they prepare to break their fast.
