Play Featuring Hazrat Zeynab’s (SA) Heroism Received Well in Baku

A play titled “Zeynab (SA), Heroine of Karbala” was staged by Shahriyar Cultural Center affiliated to the Iranian Cultural Center in Baku, The Republic of Azerbaijan.

 According to IQNA’s branch in West Asia, a large number of Ahl-ul-Bayt’s (AS) devotees were present at the hall of the cultural center to watch the performance.

The objective of the program was to highlight the important role that Hazrat Zeynab (SA) played in Karbala and also to clarify the message and philosophy of Ashura and Imam Hussein’s (AS) uprising.
After the performance, Ebrahimi, Iranian cultural attaché in Baku, delivered a speech in which he underlined that Ashura, as a magnificent event, should be truly understood.
He also said that Hazrat Zeynab (SA) is the best role-model for Muslim women in various aspects of life.
Besides the influential role that she played in Karbala and beyond, Hazrat Zeynab (SA) was a great interpreter of the Holy Quran who had students among women in Medina, he went on to say.
