Shia Scholars' Gathering Held in Mumbai

TEHRAN (IQNA) – On the occasion of Martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (SA), a number of digital books on the Seerah of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) beloved daughter were unveiled in a ceremony attended by Shia scholars in Mumbai, India.

 According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the Iranians’ mosque in Mumbai hosted the ceremony.

The program provided an opportunity for scholars and preachers to discuss the issues that should be clarified in the mourning ceremonies planned on the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA).

The Seerah and life of Hazrat Zahra (SA) and her status as a daughter, wife and mother, as well as the importance of family and the status of family in Islam were among the themes stressed to be discussed in the mourning programs. 

Speaking at the ceremony were Mahdi Zare’, who is in charge of Iranian Cultural Center in Mumbai, and Alemi, deputy of Iran’s cultural attaché in New Delhi, who talked about the importance of following Hazrat Zahra (SA) as the best role-model for girls and women.

A collection of digital books about the life of Hazrat Zahra (SA) in Persian, Urdu and English were unveiled at the end of the ceremony and some copies of the books were distributed among the participants.
