Digital Copies of Martyr Sadr’s Works Published in Qom

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A digital collection of Ayatollah Seyyed Muhammad Baqer Sadr’s works in Persian, Arabic and English was published by the Computer Research Center of Islamic Sciences.


The collection includes the full text of 62 books by the scholar in 98 volumes as well as other works on Quran interpretation, Quranic sciences, ethics, religious beliefs, Seerah and history, religious injunctions and jurisprudential issues.



 



The publication of the collection was ordered by Al-Muntadhar Li-Ihya Turath Al Al-Sadr Institute (the institute for revival of Sadr’s heritage).



 



Family and judicial issues, poetry and physics are among the themes provided in the collection along with the biography of the martyr.



 



Audio files of his speeches on jurisprudence, Islamic principles, and Friday prayer sermons are also available in the collection.



 



Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr (March 1, 1935 – April 9, 1980) was an Iraqi Shia cleric, philosopher, and ideological founder of the Islamic Dawa Party, born in al-Kazimiya, Iraq.



 



He is the cousin of both Muhammad Sadeq al-Sadr and Imam Musa as-Sadr. He was martyred in 1980.
