Quran Exhibition Underway in Baku

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Quran exhibition has been organized in the National Library of the Republic of Azerbaijan in cooperation with the Iranian Cultural Center in Baku.

 

According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), a number of old Quran copies, manuscripts, and photos featuring the mausoleum of Imam Reza (AS) are on display at the exhibition.

It opened on Tuesday, May 1, and will run for a week.

A number of Azeri officials as well as Iran’s cultural attache in Azerbaijan have visited the exhibition.

Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan have had good relations in different areas, including cultural fields, since the latter’s independence in 1991.
