Tehran to Host Int’l Conference on Women’s Place in Iranian, Islamic Civilization

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Iranology Foundation plans to organize an international conference next year titled “Women’s Place in Iranian, Islamic Civilization”.

According to ISNA, the foundation’s headquarters in Tehran will host the conference on February 24-25, 2020.

Women’s place in creation, women’s role in social and economic fields, and women and futuristic studies in Islamic and Western countries are the main themes of the scholarly event.

It will be organized in cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) office in Tehran.  

Scholars and researchers willing to take part in the conference can send their abstract papers to the secretariat by January 5, and full papers by February 4.
